The 24th Annual General Meeting of the Society of Operations Engineers took place on 15 December 2022 to vote on the following agenda points:

1. To receive the minutes of the twenty-third Annual General Meeting
2. To receive and adopt the Report of the Directors for the year ended 31 December 2021
3. To receive and adopt the Annual Accounts of the Society for the year ended 31 December 2021 and the Auditors’ report thereon
4. To re-appoint Crowe UK as Auditors for the following year and to delegate authority to the Board to agree their remuneration.

The meeting was quorate with members attending in person or virtually.

As part of a refreshed and reformed Trustee Board, John Eastman, EngTech CEnv FSOE FIRTE, takes on the role of President and Shaun Stephenson, EngTech FSOE FIRTE takes on the role of Chair. Shaun commented:  “I genuinely believe there is a fantastic future ahead for the Society and I look forward to working with you to achieve it."
