As the clock ticks down to just days, the excitement for the annual IRTE Skills Challenge Awards is at an all-time high.
Organised by the Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE), the road transport sector of the Society of Operations Engineers, the Skills Challenge is a cornerstone event that aims to highlight the skills, dedication, and hard work of those who keep the wheels of the transport industry turning smoothly.
Over 20 winners across 16 award categories (individual and team) will be crowned on 11th July at the British Motor Museum including the Philip Margrave Memorial Award and our coveted Judges’ Choice titles.
Participants face a series of rigorous practical and theoretical tests that assess their competence in various aspects of vehicle maintenance, including electrical systems, braking systems, and diagnostics.
